A very attractive, well painted portrait of Eyre Massey, 1st Baron Clarina.
Painted around 1790 and in very good condition. This portrait is of an excellent size and the canvas is free of rips or marks. The gilt frame has some losses as can be seen in photographs, but the overall look is still superb.
Signed in the bottom left corner by John Burton.
